Want to Impact the Digital World? Books You Can’t MISS! (Part 1)

Over the last few months, I had the opportunity to read few great books, which I strongly recommend to anyone who is looking at creating a great impact in the digital world.

In this series, I will list some of those favorite books along with the summary of the insights offered by them. In the first part, I would like start by mentioning none other than Seth Godin’s latest and revolutionary piece of writing on marketing – Meatball Sundae.

In his book, Seth highlights the importance of interacting with customers – including customer service and product/service itself – as an opportunity to grow the organization rather than relying on traditional mass media.

His advice to businesses that are interested in capitalizing on the online marketing opportunity is well captured in his quote:

“Organizations don’t fail because the online marketing does not work. They fail because it works only when applied to right organization and you can become the right organization.”
