For those who are still wondering, here’s a presentation from SlideShare that does really well to introduce Social Media, and advocate its case.
Be warned though, there are some ’subdued’ obscenities in the presentation. Its useful nonetheless.

Social Media has really caught on like a buzz-word, and we’d all do a favor to ourselves to really get a hang of it. Would love to see a lively discussion here on the topic.
